Co-Mo Connect Celebrates 25,000 Subscribers

Co-Mo Connect recently celebrated reaching the 25,000 subscriber milestone with employees and subscribers with both internal and subscriber events.

“This is an exciting milestone for our organization and the region we serve,” said John Szymanowski, Chief Operations Officer of Co-Mo Connect. “This growth has been motivated by those in our service area and the surrounding territory encouraging the expansion of our broadband infrastructure to help bring reliable high-speed Internet to their communities. We appreciate the level of support the region has shown us.”

The 25,000-subscriber milestone not only marks a substantial growth achievement by the cooperative but also serves as a testament to the organization’s dedication to its mission of improving the quality of life for the region it serves.

“As an organization, we are committed to our mission, and as we bring on new projects, that mission remains at the forefront of our decision-making process,” said Aaron Bradshaw, Chief Executive Officer of Co-Mo Connect. “We are proud of the level of service we are able to provide to our region, and as we continue to grow, we continue to look at innovative solutions that can benefit our region using the high-speed internet infrastructure we provide.”

At the end of May, Co-Mo Connect announced that the 25,000th subscribers were Harold and Betty Ratcliff of California. The couple was presented with a flatscreen television, a Nintendo Switch, and a year of free Gigabit Internet!

When asked how it felt to be the 25,000th subscriber, Harold jokingly said, “It feels better than being the 24,999th subscriber!”

The Ratcliffs were very appreciative of winning the 25,000th subscriber prizes, but they were also very complimentary of their Co-Mo service to date. “We’ve had other internet service providers, and none can compare,” said Harold. “We really enjoy Co-Mo Connect’s service.”

“It was wonderful to get to meet Harold and Betty and present them with the 25,000th subscriber prize package,” said Co-Mo Connect Member Care Director, Corey ten Bensel. “25,000 subscribers is a wonderful achievement, but it is by no means the finish line for Co-Mo Connect. We look forward to many celebrations such as this in the years to come.”

Co-Mo Connect is also set to name the grand-prize winner of its 25K Contest prize drawing on June 8th! More than 10,000 subscribers entered, but one lucky Co-Mo Connect subscriber will win a year of free Gigabit Internet, a big screen TV and a Nintendo Switch!
