What is Co-Mo’s Connect to Help charitable campaign?
In 2020, Co-Mo Connect initiated the Connect to Help charitable campaign as another way to give back to the community and lend a helping hand to local charities that are actively improving the lives of area citizens in need.

How does the Connect to Help Campaign work?
In May of each year, Co-Mo Connect donates $35 to local charities for each new Internet subscriber during the month. New subscribers get $50 off their installation fee as a “thank you” for being a Co-Mo Connect customer and participating in the campaign. Existing subscribers are encouraged to help by donating to any of the charities Co-Mo Connect has helped during the campaign’s four-year existence (see below).

How much has Co-Mo Connect raised for local charities with Connect to Help?
Since 2020, Co-Mo Connect has raised more than $76,000 for local charities.

How does Co-Mo Connect choose the charities that will receive the Connect to Help campaign donation?

Co-Mo Connect takes nominations for 501 (c)(3) charities from employees, subscribers, and members via its digital communication channels, or you can nominate a charity HERE. These charities are chosen by a final vote of Co-Mo Connect employees.

Co-Mo Connect Donates $26,000 to Local Charities for 2022 Connect to Help Campaign

Tipton, Mo. — (July 26, 2022) Co-Mo Connect Powered by Co-Mo Electric Cooperative announced today that the company has donated a total of $26,000 to two local charities – The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri and the Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club/The Jesters of Goodwill as part of the company’s annual Connect to Help charitable campaign.

The two charities were chosen by Co-Mo employees and will be the beneficiaries of separate donations of $13,000 apiece. Last year, the Food Bank donated an estimated 3 million pounds of food to people in need in Co-Mo’s service area. The Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club/Jesters of Goodwill is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth in the Lake of the Ozarks area/Mid-Missouri.

During the Connect to Help campaign, Co-Mo Connect pledged to donate $25 to local charitable organizations for each sign-up for Co-Mo Award-Winning, Ultra-Fast Internet services during the month of May. In the campaign’s three-year existence, Co-Mo has raised more than $76,000 for local charities helping area residents.

“Co-Mo Connect’s mission is to improve the quality of life for the region we serve,” said Co-Mo CEO Aaron Bradshaw. “Local charities have our sincere thanks and admiration for their tireless work in support of the people who live in our community. The Connect to Help campaign is just one of the many ways we can partner with these charities and give back to the region we serve.”
